RouterOs on virtual Machine

hi , is it possible to make a routerOs operating on Virtual Machine and
connect it on the Network?
because i have a problem, i have installing RouterOs on a Virtual Machine,
but i cannot connect to the Network, i can ping IP address give to Virtual
machine, but i cannot ping ip give to RouterOs.
i don't know why

yes it is possible,make sure that your network adapter settings on your vmware is set to Bridged,Replicate physical network connection state,
it should be on "Edit virtual machine settings"

I have this successfully running in VirtualBox. As clarkstyx says just make sure the network card is set to bridged mode.

Depending on the virtual program, you may have to try out the various virtual network cards.

In VirtualBox, RouterOS works when you set the network card to PCnet-PCI II.

Linux systems like the PRO/1000 MT desktop
