We replaced our old OBSD Core Router with the Power Router 732. So far it's running great.

However we are having a problem with 5 clients (well 1 client 5 different locations on our Wireless network)

After the switch over the client locations are unable to establish their VPN connections to there main office server (Not on our network) and we are not sure why.

We do have some filtering rules in place, but I've tried diasbleing all of them but it made no difference.

Any Ideas on what could be causeing the problem?

are you using nat?

are you using established / related rules? did you remember to include tcp, udp, AND gre ( AND ipip etc)?

did you enable the pptp helper function?

no natting in place...does ipsec require a forwarding rule in a stock PowerStation 732?

i dont know what 'stock' means, but you probably need an established / related rule for protocol 50 if it is using the 'forward' chain.

You say an 'accept' all rule on the top of the forward chain doesn't even fix it?

RouterOS runs pretty much the same on all hardware, so the fact it is a PowerRouter doesn't matter really.
