Hallo everybody,

First of all i want to say hallo to all of you. I was reading a lot in your forum the last days, but unfortunataly i dont know how i should start with my little project.

The environment: (i did a quick plan of how i want to setup the router)
1. My home-network (some PCs, Notebooks, Mediaclients, mobiles, Zyxel-NAS, Telekom ADSL internet)
2. Home-net of my friend & neighbour (also PCs, Mediaclients, D-Link NAS, UPC XDSL internet)

I bought a MikroTik RB450 to solve the following issues:

1. Connecting our networks without getting in trouble with 2 DHCP Servers, 2 different networks etc.
2. Use both internet connections to speed up my neighbours as well as mine connection to the internet
3. Have a centralized point to control and configure
4. Use VPN to connect into our home-net
5. QoS: it should be possible for me and my neighbour to use both internet connections as long as they are not used by the other one. So it should be garantied that everyone always have full bandwith of his own connection, but can use the second connection if this is not used by the other one. hopefully i was able to describe what i have in mind.

Now my questions:
Is all of that possible with the RB 450 ?
Does anybody know appropriate tutorials for one of the points?

To my knowledge: I do not have specific mikrotik knowledge, but i worked a little bit the last days with mikrotik because the router i bought was not new and i had to re-install it with netinstall because of the password.

I know that most of you are realy experts and maybe are bored with basic things like this, but hopefully somebody can give me some advise to help me startup step by step.

Thanks a lot in advanced

Feeder
