Is there any indication that Mikrotik will support wimax?

I wonder if it is going to be very difficult to implement Wimax. The current stuff that is pre-wimax that is on the market is carrier class equipment that looks to be starting around 30k$ (american). It would be spectacular if Linux and/or Mikrotik will be able to provide the necessary software to run a Wimax base station. But I'm wondering if its going to take a nasty amount of CPU/memory to run Wimax. Or will most of the overhead be taken care of with the on-board chipset (which I hear Intel is trying be early into this market). Also, I wonder if the Wimax radio cards will be extremely expensive. Anyway Wimax looks extremely awesome and complex. I guess its hard for me to imagine mini-pci wimax radio cards. I'm sure its too early to speculate how Wimax is going to unfold.

Also, I've been looking at the 802.11n spec. In fact, I bought a pre-N Belkin router that is fantastic (over 300mbs with excellent range). Seems like 802.11n might be a nice cost effective alternative when that spec finally gets ratified.

Well, I'm personally living for that day when wi-max will be a standard.
Money is not an issue here, just remember the prices of 802.11 at the beggining...

Cheers...
