Hi All,

Cant see this subject anyware.

I have configured my Dude server and am rapidly coming to depend on it, i have other Network Admins around the world that i would like to have my config.
i have exported the config but am unsure if i send it to one of my admins and they install dude on there computer and import my config will it still be associated with my computer ?
and if so how do i get it associated with there computer.

Thanks
Richard

my company is the same.

The solution I have is running the "the Dude" 24/7 on a server, use the top connection icon to connect to remote/secure from client computers and just point it to the dude server IP.
I'm in Australia, I have guys in the US and New Zeanland connecting remotely to our setup.

We have pretty restrictive access lists for viewing SNMP data so allot of my custom Dude probes will only work from 1 IP address.

The way you suggest, will probably result in broken graphs for theer data.... and more than likely increased traffic generated by other "Dude" Servers replicating the same work that your computer is doing currently.

The Dude Rocks !!!
