SNMP timeout

Hi.

Maybe it's a known problem, but I don't know how to solve that.
I use Mikrotik on a PIII-600 PC from CF card with L3 license as a router.

When I want to enable the SNMP service, it's waiting and gives TIMEOUT error message. But I would use SNMP statistics to diagnostize the router.

Can I do something to make it work ?

Thank you.

Everything should be ok. what actions you do for enabling ?

So simple :

[admin@Router] snmp> set enabled=yes
ERROR: action timed out - try again, if error continues contact MikroTik support and send a supout file (13)

On the Winbox interface, the controls do nothing. I can't enable it.
Every other things works perfectly, the router works very well.

Do you have any communities set in the SNMP list? By default, there is one listed as "public" with 0.0.0.0/0 Do you have at least this? What version of Mikrotik?

My community :
[admin@Router] snmp community> print
TIMEOUT

SNMP settings :
[admin@Router] snmp> print
TIMEOUT

Version :
MikroTik RouterOS 2.8.26 (c) 1999-2005
I have L3 license. But everything works perfectly with the router. Except this.
