WMM setup correctly - But no improvement on voip?

Hi Guys

I have setup a basic LAB environment to test WMM capabilities but I found no improvement :(

Maybee I am confused with what it actually does so please correct me if I have not implemented it correctly. Please see attachment:

The Providers edge are 2x RB433's connected wirlessly and all the other connections are ethernet.

This is how I tested it:

1) Configured WMM as per attachment and the priority is correctly assigned to the packets. I checked this by having this rule to the PE routers and the counters went up when I made a call:

/ip firewall mangle
add action=passthrough chain=forward comment="" disabled=no ingress-priority=7

2) Made a call and the quality was good

3) Did a UDP bandwidth test from PE - PE and voice quality dropped

It this the correct implementation of WMM or does it only help when there is enough throughput?

thanks

So what do you expect to happen? You're flooding the line with traffic doing a bandwidth test, obviously the call quality will drop.... It will drop even on Ethernet...

Ok let me re phrase the question....When/how is WMM supposed to be used?

I understand that it divides the station's traffic into "4" access categories but how does that help if the link is saturated?
