1. When I generate a CSR (using RB ROS v3.3) for GoDaddy, I can make up any FQDN for the Common Name?
For example http://www.hotspot1.mickeymouse.com

2. Then I will submit CSR to GoDaddy, and follow howto's to import my SSL certificate

3. When I setup the hotspot, I MUST enter the SAME FQDN for DNS Name?

4. Hotspot customers see https://www.hotspot1.mickeymouse.com/login.html?

Thanks! I am grateful for any help you can provide.

Here is a follow-up for those of you who find this thread while searching along the same learning path as I'm on:

The answer is yes. If you match the SSL Common Name to the Hotspot DNS Name, then everything works as it should.

It's so cool to see the HTTPS encrypted icon when hotspot users are presented with the login page!
