There is such a question. I found here how to make traffic coming through WebProxy mangling and queing. But it's said that I need to make my proxy transparent. Is it going to work without transparent proxy? Also, I want to count traffic using Proxylizer. So I need a log files, that Web Proxy will send to the Proxylizer. In Web Proxy configuring it's also said that I need transparent proxy. So, all this works only with http traffic and trought transparent proxy only? I'm asking all this because I need to give access to the Internet only for brouser and some kind of messenger applications. So, using transparent proxy, I will need to reconfigure all my browsers anyway, because in transparent mode there is no way to pass trought for https and ftp protocols that I need too. As I understood, if I use transparent mode, don't filling in proxy server address I won't be available to get, for example, to https://www.google.com. Am I right?
