v3.X uptime challenge

Figured seeing as we go through different versions it'd be great to see who has the best uptime on the now *old* v3-running devices.
I'll start us off with a PowerRouter 732 that runs part of a wireless network I'm slowly disassembling.

what about 'uptime + productivity'? =)

it's one of our core routers, I've upgraded it today at morning to v4.1:

154d uptime, 440 TiB of traffic in each direction
rou.gif
p.s. it was v3.24 (with logout bug), so there's 47.000 active users %)

This is longest uptime of our Mikrotik devices. I have been upgrading everything to 3.24, so others have less uptime.
But i couldn't upgrade this one, because it has connection issues. But as a bridge it works fine :)

i wish i could join the challenge, my town is currently on a routine blackout, twice a day, thus the router wouldn't be up for even 12 hours.

but if everything is normal, the router usually up for about 2 months

Without a reboot, one of my routers uptime reset to zero.

It looks like uptime will be reset after X days. :(

I'm quite sure of that, because my log show events from jul/11/2010. All counters also look like this router has been running for years. For example, one of my firewall rules show 7 TB in the statistics.

If you upgrade to the fixed version, you will lose uptime anyway.

The 490 days uptime limit has been fixed in recent v4 versions, so your game is on.

Time to upgrade :)

But seriously - Limit was only on displayed uptime, not on real uptime. Some counter limitation. 2^32 (497 days) was the limit. Now it's longer.

yes, it is a core router two nstreme interfaces and ip load from ethernet.
cconnection tracking off, now queues. Only simple routing - customers internet traffic

a RB1000 is standby, but when to switch.......

around 1000 customers complaining a single minute outtime........................within minutes you will get 50 calls at your hotline!

I wonder if the 497 days limit also applies to ppp connections?

EoIP tunnel to another wireless node (picture). IMHO, a pretty stable wireless connection. :)

Recently we found a Cisco router with 12.5 year uptime... got us a pie from Cisco :)
Unfortunately my own Mikrotik routers don't com close to that.
