RB433AH + 3xR52-350 MiniPCI cards cannot go over 24 Mbps

Mon Nov 02, 2009 5:56 pm

Hello.
Here I am posting a link to another topic of mine that is in "RouterOS on RouterBOARD" section:

http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=36245

The idea is to have 3 APs in one box that use the same ethernet which is 100Mbps and is surely enough for 3x802.11g. The processor is also "fast" enough to handle this even in routing mode.
Has anyone managed to make it work with any RouterBOARD/MiniPCI configuration at all and what could be wrong with my setup? :?

Crosstalk.

It is never advisable to have multiple cards within the same enclosure which are expected to operate within the same band.

Not sure if it is crosstalk... As I mentioned in the other topic everything is working as expected when tests were made with OpenWRT...
I like MikroTik and want to use it but this thing just does not make sense. What do you mean not to have multiple cards in the same enclosure? Why is it made then with 3 MiniPCI slots...? :?
