What ROS version??

The frequently reading of forum topics has made me confused :?

For the RB1000 there are two versions available for download:

RouterOS 3.30 (legacy)

RouterOS 4.2 (stable)

The RB1000 will be used for bgp (and no wifi, just wired isp). Everywhere I read, it says that for the latest fixes in routing issues, one should use the routing-test package. But, routing-test is available for 3.30 only. So, is the routing package for 4.2 as much up to date as the routing-test is for 3.30? Or should I consider switching back to 3.30?

(the RB is plugged in but not active yet, so no problems to speak of -yet-)

routing-test is the same as regular routing in v4

so you should use v4 for the latest and greatest routing package
