Hi,
Well, I'm able to allow users to make payments via paypal. But, when they complete the purchase and hit the "return to usermanager button" it gets the 404/505 "no page" display.
Based on the attachments is anyone able to tell whether or not I have correct config?
Interestingly. I have imported a ssl cert.
As soon as I had a user make the first purchase. I got the Verisign and GTE corp certs imported. Anything needed done with these?
Thanks,

Do you have www-ssl service enabled with the appropriate certificate in /ip service?

Yes,
I do have www-ssl enabled. Now, I'm not sure which certificate is being used.
I get the "untrusted certificate" response from installing my own. Which I understand is nothing to be concerned about.
The PayPal gateway installed 2 certs.
Not sure how to make them work, or if anything is needed to be done? Decrypt? Import? Are they even utilized?

A bit off track but, I thought I'd include this.
Here's the User manager config. Just the url to my Public IP is correct? for the return URL.
And the Hotspot config below. Sorry about the lack of continuity.

OK,
I've disabled the "secure response" in UserManager config for PayPal payments.
Now I get a return to my login page from the PayPal gateway.
How can I get the secure https running? So that users get back to
https://mydomain.com.
Thanks
As I mentioned. I now have the Verisign and GTE certificates but not sure if they are an issue or not.

So, if I (user) makes the payment at PayPal then hits the "return to mysite button".
I get the standard webpage cannot be displayed.
Here:
webpage from paypal return to button.JPG
Is this a certificate issue or the configuration in the subscriber on usermanager?
Here's a pic of the subscriber config.

The link is working for us in IE and Firefox. It might be the link is not working from inside the network. Try to make payment from computer in public network, which is not in local network. If it is working, please setup DNS correctly.

Hello
I am having exactly the same problem.
My return URL is working fine if i copy and past it in the browser.
But when i click on the return to Merchant link after the payment with pay pal, i also get the error message:
As though the page is not accessible. But if i click on try again in Firefox, or if I copy and paste the same URL then it works.
What could be the problem?

There are so many ways of online payment nowadays. PayPal is one of them which is widely popular especially for online shopping. But sometimes due to internet connection problem you got this kind of error message as my point of view. I am using merchantinc.com which is also one of the best secure payment gateway for online shopping you can use to get the ability to fight disputes directly with a grace period.
