Using R5H for base station, TX power, CCQ

Tue Jan 19, 2010 10:37 am

Hello

I have set up some RB433AH base stations with R5H radio cards.
With these I use 90deg 16dB sektors from Mars.

But I don't seem to get good performance.
Even on some that has only 5 CPE connected.

All CPE`s have free LOS and is within 2-4 Km.
CPEs is 20dB MTI wireless edge enc, with RB411

On the base station I see that in registration table CCQ on is ~90% TX and ~40% RX.

What is normal?
This seems so unbalaced, any tips to get this better?

Try change frequency. Uplink is noisy.

Like aaa mentioned as well as lowering the data rate might help as well.

What are your signal strengths and signal to noise showing?
