Can you give us some more information about how you're configuring your routers? A post of your config would be great, but even just a rundown of how you're setting up the wireless card and bridges would be helpful.

Hi scott,

the configuration i am using is the one I found from the wiki

/interface mesh add disabled=no

/interface mesh port add interface=wlan1 mesh=mesh1

/interface mesh port add interface=ether1 mesh=mesh1 (I am using cable from the hotspot server to the mesh gateways)

# interface used for AP interconnections
/interface wireless set wlan1 disabled=no ssid=mesh frequency=2437 band=2.4ghz-b/g mode=ap-bridge \
wds-mode=static-mesh wds-default-bridge=mesh1

# interface used for client connections (USED ONLY FOR THE MESH RB NOT FOR MESH GATEWAYS)
/interface wireless set wlan2 disabled=no ssid=mesh-clients frequency=2462 band=2.4ghz-b/g mode=ap-bridge

# a static WDS interface for each AP you want to connect to
/interface wireless wds add disabled=no master-interface=wlan1 name=<descriptive name of remote end> \
wds-address=<MAC address of remote end>

Then I add an IP address to the mesh interface to each one of the RB and works fine just with one gateway, but as soon as I add the ip address to the mesh interface to the other mesh gateway, the first gateway which was working fine, stops receiving from the hotspot server, and just works the new gateway I added.

The only router that has bridge is the Hotspot serve and has a bridge with eth1 and eth2 and that is the interface that I assign the 192.168.10.1 ip address then the first mesh gateway which has in the mesh interface wlan1 and ether1 is the one that i assign 192.168.10.2 and 192.168.10.3 for the third gateway also with wlan1 and ether1 as ports of the mesh interface

Is there any way I can solve this problem? of having two mesh gateways?

thanks for your help
regards
