Noisy environments - Single or dual polarised antennas?

Tue Mar 16, 2010 11:31 am

Hi Guys

If there is a lot of noise and interference, should I stick to single polarity antennas or dual polarised antennas?

Or would it be beneficial to run dual polarised antennas but use 10mhz for each chain instead of 20mhz for a single chain?

My thinking is that dual polarised antennas attract interference from both polarity networks which might make the problem worse?

You have to check what the antenna polarization installed around you.
Let say most of them running on the Vertical, then i suggest you to use the horizontal instead vertical.

If the Vertical and Horizontal is full there, then you can consider +45 degree or -45 degree polarization.

Be sure that, you antenna gain will better than other to get better antenna beamwidth and receive sensitivity.

No, it's MA-WA58-1X in vertical polarization.

Most antennas is very dificult put on mast in +45 -45 degree mounting.
Do you have real +45 -45 degree instalation photo?

You can look for the www.sunparl.com, they can help you to customize the antenna polarization instead of only either vertical or horizontal.
