Mikrotik WISP.- How to know if you have latency using PING

Wed Mar 17, 2010 12:34 pm

Dear
THE DUDE - Mikrotik User

We have installed 50 RB411 like CPE join to AP Mikrotik RB333.- At the same time we have install and configure THE DUDE to monitoring if the CPE are live or dead using the ping services.- We consider that we need know if exist any latencty between them for this reason we want to monitoring the latency using ping or other functions.

My question is: Using the THE DUDE how I can to monitoring the latency?

Normally we have 10ms between the CPE and AP but some time happen that the latency will be 50ms or 100ms and we need track this irregular situation.

Please send me back your commentaries please.

Best regards
