I have scoured this forum looking to see whether or not this setting should be enabled for clients and aps. We have approximately 30+ clients per ap running in a WDS bridge configuration. Earlier versions of ROS had a checkbox option to enable compression. We are now running 4.5/4.6 system wide. I see that there is not a checkbox option in winbox, but it is in the config. Has anyone tested turning this on in ROS 4.5? The manual states that it somehow will help support more clients. Is this a theory or a tested fact? Can anyone enlighten me on this setting?
