I am running a 500 meter link between a couple RB800 units with Mikrotik R52N cards.
The link experiences times when the association drops and the log says its because there are no beacons.
The log shows the following normally.

wireless, debug Debug: wlan1: must select network
wireless, debug Debug: 00:0C:42:3A:FF:B8: on 5240 AP: yes SSID XON caps 0x421 rates 0xff00 basic 0x100 MT: yes

wireless, info Debug: 00:0C:42:3A:FF:B8@wlan1 established connection on 5240, SSID XON

After dropping the link the following is in the log

00:12:51 wireless, debug Debug: wlan1: failed to select network
00:12:51 wireless,debug Debug: wlan1: delaying scanning
00:12:54 wireless,debug Debug: wlan1: must select network

00:12:54 wireless,debug Debug: wlan1: delaying scanning
00:12:57 wireless,debug Debug: wlan1: must select network
00:12:57 wireless,debug Debug: empty
00:12:57 wireless,debug Debug: wlan1: no network that satisfies connect-list, b
y default choose with strongest signal

You will notice that the list of SSID's is in fact empty. If I scan in winbox for SSIDS, none are seen and if I look at the
band for usage, it thinks the band is silent.

It seems to me that the radio card driver is crashing. Doing a disable and enable does not fix the problem, but a reboot does fix it for a while.

This is my main internet feed and it worked fine for a month or so but now its totally in the tank.

Normis, any ideas?

Does anybody have a solution to this problem? I have the exact same problem.

what RouterOS version you use and what is the distance of the wireless link?

RB411 Station Version 4.10

Rb433 AP Bridge Version 4.11

Distance is about 800m

I also have another RB433 AP mounted on the same pole as the station, but set at a different frequency.

Please help :(
