Seeking Advice on 3G set-up...

I hope I'm in the right forum :)

I'm somewhat new to Mikrotik but love the software and hardware.

My friend has a small office (3 or 4 computers) located in a rural area. Internet is available only by 3G. He wishes to add Internet service and has asked for my assistance. The coverage maps show that the area is well served by Verizon, so we'll go with that carrier.

He would like a solid, permanent connection and is willing to invest in the hardware to do so.
I'm thinking that the best solution would be a Mikrotik router and an exterior mounted antenna. I think that the RB-411 would work well.

Could someone pleae tell me whether I've picked the correct router and also offer a recommendation on the best antenna for our purpose?

Or if you see a better way to configure, feel free to offer suggestions..

THANKS!

RouterBOARD 411 does not have any external slots for 3G cards.
RouterBOARD 411UAHR/RouterBOARD 411U offer you USB or MiniPCIE+SIM_slot for 3G network setups.
Currently supported 3G devices are here,

Thanks. Would the configuration for the 3G device be made under "wireless?" I don't see anything specific to 3G configuaration, mostly just AP configuration.

Thanks!

No, not there. Here is a complete guide on setting it up:

(even though it says Option Globetrotter, setup for these devices is all the same)
