Regular web-proxy contains Squid proxy. Webproxy-test package contains our own written proxy engine with caching abilities. You can find the configuration of the new proxy in the 'ip proxy' menu. The documentation isn't ready yet. Since it is a test package there could be some bugs, if you find something please report to support@mikrotik.com

What are the advantages of your proxy over Squid?

I uploaded it to a test router.
It loads ok but it is not supported by winbox yet.
You will have to configure it via CLI until it is added to winbox.

I have not played with it any more than that.
