Hi All.

I have posted this question earlier but in a nother thread i thought i would create a new one.

We have a Dell R610 with the following spec

2 x Quad core 2.66Ghz intel CPU´s

When i try and install the routerOS software from bootable CD.

The errors appears as FATAL ERROR: no harddrives found

Hiya,

Just to add.

We have PERC H200 SAS controller with a Seagate SAS drive

We want to install any version of RouterOS above 4.6 and preferably the latest.

Does anyone know what driver we need to use and how do we utilise this driver within the installation?

Regards

RouterOS v5 beta3 and newer supports the following SAS/SCSI chipsets:

3w-9xxx
arcmsr
megaraid

Yours is probably different.

Hiya all,

We managed to work around the issue by netinstalling the software on a USB flash disk and then having the server booting off the USB drive.

The SAS or SATA drive and the CDrom didn´t work at all
