What version of RouterOS do you use? If V.2.9 and your hardware is i386's clone based then try to downgrade to V.2.8.28. I had the same problem when upgrade to V.2.9. Now I still use V.2.8 just I can't fully test new version on my working system.

the version is v2.8.28. so thats why i am wondering because when i went through the forum i saw that it was 2.9 that had the problem i am having. what else could be the cause -- frequency, bandwidth, signal strength, particular type of data. please i need help for real.

How far are your clients from the AP? Do they have a good noise to signal strength ratio?
