I need to setup a failover over 2 connections on my routerboard(i don't care about load balancing as that's another can of worms), the trick is that both WAN connections are DHCP(and possibly one of them will be PPPoE managed by ROS) and all the wiki examples use manually set static IP addresses for masquerading and netwatch (http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/ECMP_Failover_Script).
or maybe i'll have to use http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Failover_ ... English%29
i'd need for the system to failover and autoreturn the downed route up if it comes back(should i use distance changes instead of disabling then?)
any ideas?
