I'm considering adding a R52n card to my RB532n. In order to take advantage of the higher thru-put of the wireless, I was planning on bonding the three 100 meg interfaces on the RB532.
Does my router have the horsepower to handle this? I don't think encryption/decryption of the wireless signal is a problem (as that's on the wireless card itself). I'm worried more about the bonding/etherchannel out to the LAN.
Since all those interfaces are now bonded, my LAN based traffic will be "bonded" too. It used to come in and go out vlan tagged interfaces. Now it's got to get unbonded and bonded again.
I want to upgrade my RB to something with larger interfaces and miniPCI slots, but the RB600a is disco'd (and figure something else is coming)...and everything else is out of my price range.
Thanks
Scott
