Im currently in search of devices for a wireless outdoor point-to-point network @5GHz for our campus (dormitories and so on). Thats why i found this page.
If searched all your websites, datasheets, faq and the forum, but ive found no answer for this:

Does Mikrotik support/complies EN 301893 v1.5.1, which must be complied by every sold wireless network deivce operating at 5GHz in the european union since 01. July 2010?

It is a knock-out criterion for getting all approved by our university and our local authority (sponsorship). Please, do not recommend a 2,4Ghz wireless network for this, because it would be no option for us.
Thanks in advance.

no answers, no compliance, I guess. :-)

mikrotik has never put alot of attention on regulatory needs...

Maybe someone from Mikrotik could tell us, what radar detection version
theire hardware uses?

I want to bring up this old topic since I still can not find an official answer!

Can Mikrotik 5Ghz devices legaly be used in Germany/EU?
resp. does Mikrotik meet ETSI 301893 v1.5.1 requirements?

Hi,

Are you asking about Mikrotik meeting the ETSI 301893 v1.5.1 standard for all possible models/combinations or a particular model e.g. RB SXT-5HnD?
