License Key unusable after downgrade

Hello,

got some serious problem with two of my RouterBOARDS 411.

They come along with the RouterOS 4.10 and I tried to make the system package downgrade to 3.28.

Downgrade worked fine but after rebooting the devices show me the following message:

ROUTER HAS NO SOFTWARE KEY
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Your router does not have any valid key.
Please, get valid key from www.mikrotik.com
and enter it at "System | License".

If you already have paid for this license, please,
press "Update Key" in "License Window"

Router will stop functioning after 23h and 30m if no valid key is entered.

Sorry but what the hell is going on? All my purchased boards never had those problems. No I have 2 broken devices, that will stop working in about 23 h. What can I do to get the licenses I bought together with the boards get to work again?

Thanks for your help

Thomas

The license key format changed after 3.30, so they key you have isn't valid for a lower firmware revision.

Contact support at support@mikrotik.com.

you can also hit on "Make Suppourt.rif" and send it to support@mikrotik.com and explain the issue, they will send you the license and you can paste it on the RB, if they contact you after the license is expired you can reinstall trying by netinstall after you receive the license generated by support mikrotik and then paste it in the new trial time (24h)
