Power Router Crashing and Rebooting

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can help, Ive asked the question before but now I have more information which should help.

We have a RB1000, Power Router 732 using BGP, OSPF, PIMs & ADSL connections via L2TP. RB1000 is perfect and never reboots. The Power Router reboots randomly, around 13-24 hours.

Now we can reproduce the rebooting manually. If we disconnect around 5 or more l2tp connections at a time the Power Router reboots itself, everytime, gauranteed.

It has happened within a few seconds, and sometimes up to 40 seconds.

Does this info help you pin point what needs to be configured to stop this?

I have attached 2 jpegs. They are in order of the log screen capture from disconnection to crashing

We are kinda desperate and any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Thanks Guys

Ben

I thought the PowerRouters came with vendor support? Did you ask them for help already? What did they say?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

No-one in Mirkotik knows what is wrong, no-one can fix it. Im sure it is a setting somewhere so I was hoping for some ideas from the forum. A lot points to OSPF, but again its just a theory.

This has been a on-going issue for 6 months so as many people with as many different ideas will be very appreciated.

Thanks, Ben
