Hi, I have a bridged wireless network, and I have two internet connections in different places of my network, the idea is to install two MT routerboards as PPPoE servers connected to each internet connections. So I can balance staticaly the users per one connection or the other.

I have tried it, I have created different users in each pppoe servers and then I configure the PPPoE clients (ubiquiti nanostation or MT 112) with the username and password.

When I do it the clients connect to the correct PPPoE server where they have the user (secret) created but, there are problems. suddenly some customers cannot surf the web or not having msn and then, goes well again, so the customers have fails ramdomly.

Now I have disabled one of the PPPoE servers and everything is going correct again.

Is it possible to have 2 PPPoE server in the same bridged network?

The target is balance the customers statically per one connection or other.

Hello,

You can do this by adding correct "service name" at the client router.

let's say: first PPPoE mt service name i called "server1"
And second PPPoE server service is called "server2"

If you add "server1" as service name field at the client, he will authenticate at the server1.
If you add "server2" as service named field at the client, he will authenticate at the server2.

I did the same as mentioned above but still all my requests are going on first router. Where may the problem be?
