Multicast

Mon Sep 27, 2010 9:23 pm

Hi

I have never configured multicast before, but hey there is always a start.

My questions is: i have read this wiki:http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Mu ... ed_example

But i don't have a /routing pim command:

routing pim interface add
bad command name pim (line 1 column 9)
Ro Version is 4.11.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you

I have a similar problem:
MT 4.11
/system package> print
Flags: X - disabled
# NAME VERSION SCHEDULED
0 system 4.11
1 X ipv6 4.11
2 X ups 4.11
3 synchronous 4.11
4 routerboard 4.11
5 X wireless 4.11
6 X hotspot 4.11
7 routeros-x86 4.11
8 dhcp 4.11
9 mpls 4.11
10 routing 4.11
11 ppp 4.11
12 security 4.11
13 advanced-tools 4.11
14 multicast 4.11

/routing pim interface> add
failure: This feature is not available

Any command for PIM issues an error «This feature is not available»
