[RouterOS in RB532] Bonding DSL

Mon Sep 19, 2005 5:57 pm

Hello, i've seen prevoius posts regarding the possibility of bonding multiple links in one. Here's my scenario

ME acting as virtual ISP for a number of wireless clients
3 DSL lines of 4Mbit each

Can I bond these 3 lines thus having a virtual 12Mbit internet link using RouterOS 2.9?

What do you think, guys? Is it possible or I've got to play with load balancing? And more, can RouterOS be PPPoE client for multiple DSL (so 3 usernames / 3 passwords)?

Thanks

What you can do if the provider supports Multilink PPP is use:

And then connect that PC router to the ethernet WAN port of your MT. The above release is supposed to be pretty stable and so far as I can tell uses mostly standard linux stuff poped into a bootable cd using Sangomo pci ADSL cards. But it is just done by some guy so maybe not really up to provider class but might be worth a try? Loads of UK isp's support it.
