I am new in this forum. please suggest me what to do. is there any configuration problem or any other problem.
point to point link distance-- 8.7 km
Bandwidth test result max --- 9 to 10 mbps
when i hit 5Mb download latency goes 150 to 300 ms. can this link supports 20 or 30 mbps???
radio --- 411AH (both side)
wireless card -- model no wlm54agp23 (both sit)
antenna --- 29 dbi (both )
mode -- bridge
band - 5GHz
frequency -- 5310
wds---dynamic
disable CSMA, enable polling (if i enable nestreme link goes down )
farmer policy -- dynamic size, farmer limit---3200

"nearly" is not "clear". try to generate some kind of path profile image, like from this site:

with that kind of 29 db antenna mounting and 200mW card power the signal should be around -51 or 52. Probably u need to fine tune the alignment. also if u need 30mbps i would suggest a 433ah atleast with XR5 or dbii

i have tried my level best sir for alignment...

The link cross a city, maybe there are some buildings that don't let you have a clear fresnell zone.
How high are your antennas?
If the alignment is correct, try to increase the height of the antennas.

i don't think any building between in my link is present. if yes then the link might not work for a single bit. at one end i have 30 meter and the other end 21 meter long.

ok. Very long time ago i've had a problem with non routerboard minipci radios that doesn't recognize correctly the antenna-a/antenna-b, causing 20-30db worst signal strenght.
Probably this is not the same case, but maybe you have connected the rf cable to the wrong port of one of the routerboards. try to change via winbox antenna-a/antenna-b.

sorry but the rf cable is connected to ri8 port..

if there is a problem on my equipment then i also have another two p2p link(one is 12 km distance and the other one 300 meter)... same problem is there also.. so now what should i do ???
is all my equipments are not working properly ???

if you run BandwidtTest in winbox do you have the same results (5-10mbit/s)?
do you have vlans on your routerboards?
do you use always wlm54agp23 radios or also other radios?

yes sir, i have the same results. and i don't have any vlans on boards.
using RB 411AH and R52 cards

r52 has very less power for a 8 km link. just 65mW. tell me exactly which card u r using. u have referred earlier to a compex card and then u say a r52

actually i have 3 p2p link in base. i didn't make the p2p links, one of my friend done it. im new in Mikritik.all i can see on the wlan card is written '' model no wlm54agp23'' , mac address nothing else. and the other p2p's wlan card R52...
if there is any way to check the wlan card from winbox... please tell me so that i can exactly tell you what i have on my boards.

for a 8 km link u should have atleast a 25dbm card like R52Hn or DBii or XR5 to get 10+ mbps throughput across a busy city. You are having problems probably because of the R52 which cannot give much throughput than 5 mbps and hence ur latency starts to go high.

Replace ur cards and u will have what u r looking for. Hoping that ur antennas are 29dbi solid dish.
