Greetings,

I'm fairly new to MikroTik but was able to configure a RB750G to my liking with help from many on this forum. Again, thank you...

I have now "graduated" to a RB450G and am excited to get it up and running. I have a simple question to which I can't find an answer on the Wiki, unless I've missed something...

Here goes: I'm simply replacing the RB750G with the RB450G. Is there a way to transfer my configurations over without having to re-enter everything?

Export the config, copy off to computer, edit out the parts unique to the device you're exporting from (MAC addresses under interfaces, for example) in a text editor, copy over to new router, import. Or just copy/paste between routers.
