loosing connections

I have a problem which may or may not be related to the 2.9 OS.
Since upgrading a few access points to the 2.9 OS we have not been able to keep people connected to our main AP for longer than about 30 mins. Usually they all connect initially, but then they all drop ffo the list one by one.
This is getting very frusterating since I have been trying to fix things for several days now with no success.
I am not sure if it worked better before I upgraded to 2.9 OS or not, but once I read the annoucement in the forums, I downgraded the main AP and it has made no difference at all.
ANY ideas would be GRATELY appreciated.
