We are about to try our first N backahul setup, and have a need for several more. After reading a lot on this forum, it seams as though people are having paroblems with both the R52Hn and the SR51 cards.
Can people using these two cards please post their opinion of which is the best card for PtP solutions.
Thanks in Advance;
Terry

People who r using Ptp with R52Hn should better use dual polarity antennas as well

We have several links that are running RB711-5Hn on both sides, our TCP throughput is about 60Mbps half duplex. These are single chain links (1x1)
We also have several MIMO links (2x2) that we are using SR71-15's in, these links are only pushing 80Mbps half duplex. I think it is a hardware issue, but can not afford to take the links down to replace parts.

Me too. R52nM with 433ah and 80cm offset dish at 5.5km - 0 tx power --> -65dB --> 110Mbps at UDP test with one chain.

SR71-15 Cards 2X2 MIMO (Dual-Chain/Polarity) , USE NV2 ON DUAL-CHAIN LINKS. Data Rates with regular old Nstreme was 168/150Mbps, NV2 is rock solid 270/270Mbps.

wispwest,
Is this half or full duplex? Can You capture Your measurements and post it here?

I use R52Hn
I get about 105-110 Megabits full duplex with gigabit equipment with good quality links... (NV2 ROS 5.4 -50/-50db)
Great cards, i can park several in a box and have them work together without interference... IE. -- can have more than one card in a single enclosure transmitting at full capacity without disconnects or other issues....
The DBII F52-Pro looks like a great card, but i have not tried it, they claim it is "military grade" also Certified for 4.9ghz use
