Hello,
I'd like to use 4 to 5 3G USB Modems with 1 routerboard.
Is that possible using a USB Hub for instance?
Would all modems work or each USB port on RBs strictly support 1 device?
Hi mate,i have problem with rapidly disconect of modesm, when used 4 modesm on hub.
when only ppp-out connect on one modem, (but 4 modems in hub) .. work ok
with two modem also, work, but not evry time.
but with 4 modems .. everothing go wrong ... repidly disconenct all time, on every 2-30 secund.
btw, I send supout file to sergejs
btw2, did you known, with hub , will be work ok (maybe, hub is not good) ... i try 3 hubs, all same
You're right, I will.you should make a separate topic about Bonding.
the problem is only on RB4xx devices, on PC it's fine. Those kind of problems have to do with the issue I described or it's irrelevant?
i have rb750gr3, tplink usb 3.0 hub with 4 ports, and 3 usb 4g modem e3372s-153. but, only 2 usb modem active, and 1 invalid usb. the usb hub is absolutely normal, i've test the usb hub with my aio pc, attached to its usb 2.0 also 3.0, all usb modems shown up.do you need one miniPCI? RB411U doesn't need USB power injection. Powered HUB is needed only if your 3G device needs it.
