Do you have a crossover serial cable connected and a terminal program running on your PC with the right settings?

There should be some informative output if it is getting a single beep.

Hello, Mikrotik. Your e-mail support is keeping silence.

I have had the same problem.
The information from the console:

.....
Setting up elf image... OK
Jumping to kernel code
/sbin/init: '/lib/libgcc_s.so.1' is not an ELF file
/sbin/init: '/lib/libgcc_s.so.1' is not an ELF file
/sbin/init: can't load library 'libgcc_s.so.1'
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

May be this will help you to solve your bugs...
