Link Budget Calculation

I have been assigned task to come up with wireless network design which will use Mikrotik Equipment. As part of design and planning, I need to come up with a Link Budget Calculation. Unfortunately I am new to this Equipment. My questions are as follows:
[1] Using Mikrotik 2.4GHz (RB/OM19) equipment on both sides of the link, what is the
maximum possible achievable distance between the two ends.
[2]Using 2.4GHz can I have distance of as far as 40 Km
[3] What is receive sensitivity of this equipment

Using nstreme, Mikrotik is said to have removed the limitation on distance and that distance won't degrade the throughput of the link. When making long distance links you need to factor in the curvature of the earth, and antenna height. A good program to use would be Radio Mobile.

[2]
Assuming that your antennas are high enough and using nstreme. It should be doable. I haven't done a 2.4 link that far, but the world record for 2.4Ghz is 125 miles http://www.wifiworldrecord.com/

[3] Depends on the radio card used. Take a look at the specifications documentation to find your answer.

Thanks for your contribution.

What I discovered is that I was indeed new to the equipment. Otherewise the task went on nicely. :D

I have a question about link budget calculations.. To calculate link budget 802.11n is the same formula that 802.11a? If we have 2 antenna or dual polarization the calculations are the same?
