my rb433 has ros 5.2. my problem is that when hotspot users be 7-10 the cpu load will be 100%

all off active servies in my RB is :
pppoe server
hotspot
pptp client
dns cache

max online user in hotspot+pppoe= 25 user and total BW=2mbps

only disabling the hotspot can return cpu load to normal obout 10%

I'm having exactly the same issue. If Hotspot enabled on my RB450G, then i get 70-100% usage, if i disable hotspot, then usage drops to 10% or so. Did anyone solve this? v5.8

I figured it out, I had "Transparent Proxy" checkmark marked in the User Profile in the IP > Hotspot. I was able to solve it after going to Tools > Profile to see what exactly is using my CPU, which was Proxy - so i found it!
