Wireless MT setup

Hi there guys n gals.
I have issues with my MT that I have got setup. Just recently we upgraded the hardware on our hotspot, and things were running real smooth. Suddenly there was a drop in performance, and we dnt know what is causing it.
We have discovered that the CPU usage at times jumps to 100% and then nothing works on the system, winbox looses its connection, and clients have to reconnect their pppoe sessions. And that is with only 6 pppoe sessions connected. Which shud not make a system use 100% cpu power.
Another issue we have is our clients email doesnt work properly, I am thinking maybe a problem with firewall rules and all that? I currently put in a rule that states the client IP pool is maqsueraded to 0.0.0.0/0. I use a very basic rule, but things are not working here.
So can somebody maybe put a tutorial before me that shows from beginning to end to setup a hotspot that works 100%. With clients making use of pppoe to connect to the server. We are using 1mb adsl for now as our bandwidth, the MT makes a pppoe session out for the adsl.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
