Link Monitoring

Thu May 19, 2011 4:25 pm

Hello,

I have got a link between two mikrotiks (RB1100). I want to monitor the traffic on this link. I want to monitor the data going through the link in sort of graph or figure for any specific time or day in past. Is there any way of doing it through mikrotik.

Thanks

Monitor it via SNMP. There are plenty of free and paid Network Monitoring solutions out there that talk SNMP.
There are also built in graphs, but an external solution will scale better and keep data if anything happens to the router.

http://forums.cacti.net/ is probably a better place to look for Cacti install help.
