Firewall max concurrent connections

We are using mikrotik in the core router in a ISP.

I do not understand because mikrotik it is so limited to 2gb of ram and only 524,288 concurrent connections.

Mikrotik staff should understand that now the connectivity needs are x2 annually and that a single user can consume 30,000 connections using bittorrent/p2p. Now the ram is cheap and multi-core servers can handle many more connections.

You think any solution, such as increasing the limit on multi-core systems. And 64bit processing for a while?

Why do you need connection tracking at all on a core router? Maybe my definition of a core router is different.
