Hi please could anyone give me urgent help for configuring Nstreme-Dual.


I have 2 RB500 with 2 AR5413 in each RB500 board.

i followed very stickly the documentation step by step for nstreme-Dual config.

But when i monitor the nstreme-dual interface on any board i've got the following result:

I tried an tried again with different atheros cards , AR5213 but same result!!!!!

please help me i dont see where i made a mistake and i'am very stress about that as it's the first time i try nstreme2 and i have to setup a link on wednesday this week!!!

Did you build the units, or get them from Mikrotik complete? If you built them, try changing antenna mode from ant-a to ant-b and maybe it will work.

I got units from MT but unasembled( RoutedBoard500, OudoorBox,POE...).
I changed antenna mode but same result: not connected!!
any other idea please!!
Help me found out what is going on!!
is it my config?
my atheros cards(new cards never been used!!)?
My Board? (new board been used!!)?

I never used nstreme. but I think that one of two boards has to be master...

please read the documentation one again, you have specified wrong frequencies.
It should be so:
RX-freq_board1=TX-freq_board2
TX-freq_board1=RX-freq_board2

Don´t use the same frequency for tx and rx.

Looks like you don't understand what i wrote in the last post.
The RX frequency in the board1 should be equal with the TX frequency in the board2 and the TX frequency in the board1 should be equal with the RX frequency in the board2.

Sorry for my error. Indeed Sergio is using different frequencies. (5180 for TX and 5320 for RX)

the same SSID don't use for the rx card and tx card
