Problems with NAT

Is anyone else having issues with NAT at this point? i installed 2.9.8 on all our routers but was forced to downgrade to 2.9.6 but NAT is still not working, no packets seem to get routed through the interface, i've tried this on 5 routers now

0 chain=srcnat out-interface=OnBoard action=masquerade

and i've tried it with

0 chain=srcnat out-interface=OnBoard src-address=10.0.0.0/24 action=masquerade

These rules worked before the upgrade and now i can no longer get them to work, these are the only rules on the routers, no mangle's no filter rules or anything.

Help?!

This might sound stupid but have you renamed the interface you want to use as OnBoard ?

> ip address print

what does that print out ?
