ZTE 626i and Telstra Pre-Paid 3G Access

I am having an issue getting a ZTE 626i to work with MT.

I have it plugged into a RB493 with an external USB power injector and can query/manage the modem just fine.

The issue I have come up again is this:
When you connect to pre-paid, it is authenticated by the network using CLI (ie. the mobile number of the SIM) and not a username/password combination. As a result of this, ROS doesn't seem to know to just blindly start doing PPP as soon as it receives the "CONNECT" message from the modem.

When I plug the modem into an Ubuntu server, and set up WVDial, I have to use "Stupid Mode = 1" in wvdial.conf to get it work... and work it does!

Is there an equivalent in ROS?

For something like this, email support@mikrotik.com
If it isn't currently possible to use, it is very likely that they will add support in the next version especially if you can already communicate with the modem and simply need the connection method modified.
