BGP Route Advertisments - issues

Hi All

I am having an issue with a Mtik that acts as a L2TP Server.
The L2TP Server uses radius for Auth.

The connection, auth and access etc are all working 100%.

There is a BGP session between the Mtik and a Cisco router which allows the Mtik to advertise the IP address/es that it received from the radius L2TP connection.

The problem we are experiencing is that once the L2TP server connection has dropped the route is still being advertised by the BGP.
The BGP Session is redistributing connected and static routes into the cisco.
The cisco has a prefix list to only allow a certain set of IP addresses through.

The route is removed from the routing table.
The L2TP Connection is removed from the PPP window

There is no reference to the advertised route anywhere else on the router.

The BGP is in multihop and all other settings are default.

Could this be a bug in the RouterOS ?

Rebooting the Mikrotik removes the route from being advertised by BGP

Thanks

Perhaps the Cisco is announcing the subnet back to the mikrotik?

Hi Sten

No - the route is in the advertisements on the Mikrotik's BGP.

Also there is a prefix list on the Cisco preventing any routes appearing in the Mikrotik.
