Ip Packing .... Disabled

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to set up IP Packing between two mikrotik routers.
I've started with the most simple config.

The two routers are interconnected by cable through ether5.
Each router is visible to the otherone through the ether5 port.

The winbox screen says that the IP Packing is "disabled", and no packing is being taking place.

Could you give me a hint in order to fix the problem and activate the packing properly.

(I've attached the screens showing the config at each router)

Thanks for your attention,

The Ip Packer window (winbox) shows the Packer as disabled. (bottom left corner).
(attached a screen).

Actually this is a very simple test on my desk.
The actual situation is for packing VoIP packets into a bigger ones in order to achieve better radio procesors performance over wireless links.

Regards,
Francisco

it's grayed - it means it's NOT disabled. disable it by pressing 'Disable' button - you will see the change. also, in 'Neighbours', open an entry - there you will see 'Unpacking' line

Thanks for your patience.
Your observation is right.

Packing is working, I will implement over many mikrotik routers in the neighbor and see how performs.
I will post the results.

Thanks and regards.

just remember for packing to work you have to have '/ip neighbor discovery' enabled on the interface (on both ends of the link).
