Passing through PPPoe Requests to ADSL router via Mikrotik

Hi there

I currently have a MT connecting to a wireless ADSL modem. The modem is in bridge mode and the MT dials the PPPoE connections to the internet.

I have added a RB750 to the setup and will be doing some LB between two ADSL lines. I would like to turn the current MT that connects wirelessly to the ADSL modem into a simple wireless bridge between the ADSL modem and the RB750, allowing the RB750 to dial out a PPPoE connection via the MT.

Can anyone advise on how to set this up? The MT will effectively need to be a dumb wireless bridge.

Thanks
mark

you want your pppoe connection established via Mikrotik or Modem ?

if you want connected by mikrotik : set username and password in winbox ( ppp section > interface pppoe client )

Thank you for the help

Currently im dialing the PPPoe Connections on the MK that is connected wirelessly to the Modem.

Connected to the ethernet port of that MK, i will connect a second MK. I would like that new MK to take over the dialing of the PPPoE. So i need to bridge the wireless interface and the Ethernet to allow the PPPoE requests to make its way to the Modem.

I have tried to make a bridge, but this fails to work. I have also tried to use the bridge firewall, then i can see the PPPoE request, but it is not fowared on, not from what I can see, that or the reply is ignored?

Thanks
Mark
