i read the article at http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Testwiki/ ... principles and i'm mildly confused. about 2/3 down the page an example is given of 173.120.0.0/18. this resulting in 4 subnets with a possible 62 host. addresses at 173.20.0.0, 173.20.0.64, 173.20.128, and 173.20.0.192. shouldn't it be 4 subnets with a possible host of 16382(2 to the 14-2) and addresses at 173.20.0.0, 173.20.64.0,173.20.128.0 and 173.20.192.0? i hope this isn't a ridiculous question.

It seems calculation was done with /26 mask and not /18. Fixed.
