I need to reach a NAS in another room at maximum speed

Hello,
I have a NAS in another room (5/10 meters distance) . I cannot make holes or put wires.

Can you suggest me what mikrotik products should I buy to:

1) obtain maximum speed possible (I have read in forum that someone reached real 300 mbits)
2) possibly full duplex (does it improve performance?)
3) possibly suggest me metarouter compliant devices so I also try metarouter.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Mario

A mimo wireless solution may not be your best solution here.

Ok so now I am thinking about using two connections in bonding balanced-rr:
-one via power cable;
-other via wifi.

So I have two problems:

- I see in mikrotik shop that there is no product with gigabit switch AND wifi, how is it possible?
- can someone with experience in bonding tell me if balanced-rr improves performance with only one tcp connection?

Thanks,
Mario

And how would you setup this? With a routerboard on one side and another one to the other side, next to your NAS?
A bonding of different links with various speeds and latencies?

Seems pretty bad idea to me.

There is gigabit versions of powerline adapters, you should be able to get at close to 500mbit pure throughput even with old/bad power cables from that setup. Messing with wireless will do you no good at all.
